International Balloon Museum-Albuquerque, NM

Chris Opp painted these 3D Balloons that were installed at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum in 2006. Chris had enjoyed watching the Hot Air Balloons fly over his house during the annual balloon festival, amazing Color in the Sky. He has even had the pleasure of flying in the balloon four times. One flight was a “Slash-n-Dash”, when the pilot touches the bottom of the basket in the Rio Grande River. Then once he lettered a Balloon Vehicle and the pilot too him up in the Balloon over 9,000 feet above sea level. He could see the whole mountain range of the Sierra Mountains, the Pacific Ocean and the whole of Southern California, from Perris Lake, California.
